Labor continue to attack low-income earners

Article image for Labor continue to attack low-income earners

Labor is continuing to attack low-income earners, wanting to slap more taxes on those who are worst hardest to contribute.

Labor’s been attacking Australians for negative gearing, and figures from the Australian Taxation Office reveal two-thirds of all investors who negatively gear are low-income earners.

“Bill Shorten should take a 12-month holiday,” says Chris Smith.

Smithy’s All-Star Prue MacSween says it’s “unbelievable”.

“They think that people who own an investment property are privileged fat cats.

“There’s no fairness in taxing the people who are the workers, the contributors, the aspirational people of this country who are keeping it kicking and who are paying the taxes to pay for many of these people who are bludgers on welfare.”
