A former jockey, Andrew Hogan, is taking on the ambitious task of walking from Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne to Rosehill Racecourse in Sydney, all for a good cause.

He’s beginning the challenge on September 15 and finishing on October 10.

It’s a mammoth walk of approximately 1000km.

Andrew is finishing the walk at Rosehill Racecourse because that’s where he started riding racehorses and is also where he met his wife.

Tragically, he lost his wife and was left to raise their two-year-old daughter. Andrew is walking to raise awareness and funds for Gotcha4life and the National Jockeys Trust.
