Kitty Flanagan’s deadpan legal comedy Fisk is back for season two.

The Logie-award winning show, written and directed by Flanagan, also sees her return in the lead role as probate lawyer Helen Tudor-Fisk.

Kitty Flanagan told Deborah Knight when she first started playing the probate lawyer, people thought she would not be popular.

“There’s a special balance to her, she’s certainly not awful or nasty.

“Helen says the things we are all thinking, but are afraid to say.”

Season two of Fisk begins on the ABC tonight.
