There’s been a big win for free speech with Hobart City Council forced to issue an apology.

Louise Elliot, a Hobart City Councillor, attempted to book, as a private citizen, a room in the Town Hall for a “women’s rights and free speech” forum in September last year.

However, her booking was leaked by the Hobart Lord Mayor.
