Just when you thought the share bikes had rolled out of Sydney for good…

They’re back.

A new player, Lime, has entered the market and their bikes are popping up around the city.

But they’re a little different to the old bikes we’re used to.

They’re electrically powered and the company is adamant their product will be different to the bikes that littered our streets just months ago.

“I’ve watched the share industry in Sydney and obviously the product that the operators brought into the market… the public voted on that not to be appropriate

“We’re bringing a premium product here to Sydney.”

He says they’re “working with seven councils” to organise “designated bike sharing” areas.
