NSW MP and Member for Drummoyne John Sidoti has been found guilty of engaging in serious corrupt conduct by ICAC today.

Mr Sidoti was found to have threatened that Liberal Party councillors would lose their preselection unless there were favourable planning opportunities made in Canada Bay, where John  Sidoti owned numerous properties.

2GB senior reporter Clinton Maynard joined Jim Wilson on Drive with more details about the verdict, raising the question of whether or not the Premier will demand he resign.

“There’s nothing at the moment until he’s charged or convicted to force him out of government,” he said.

Clinton Maynard also provided some analysis of today’s explosive evidence from Mark Connell at the John Barilaro inquiry.

“It’s an absolute bombshell,” he said.
