Labor Politician Joel Fitzgibbon has made it clear that there will be no relationship with the Greens.

After Anthony Albanese rejected suggestions of partnering with the Greens, the Member for the Hunter backed up the same claim.

Mr Fitzgibbon told Deborah Knight he would rather his party remain in Opposition rather than government with the Greens.

“We would be better off not in government.

“Three years in government … can result in 20 years of Opposition.”

“Pigs will fly before the Labor party refuses to go into a coalition!” Deborah Knight said.
