Today, Australia recorded its largest jump in inflation since the introduction of GST in 2000.

The rate spiked to 5.1 per cent and the figures come at a time when politicians contesting the 2022 Federal Election are looking for ways to deal with the soaring cost of living.

Jim Wilson has asked for Labor to come forward with policies and plans to battle the startling figures.

“There are never any details, and it’s just such a cop-out,” Jim said.

“If you’ve got any details, well we’d love to hear them!”
