Jim Wilson calls for both political sides to offer ‘mature policy’ amid interest rate announcement

Clinton Maynard

Jim Wilson has called upon both sides of the political aisle to step up and offer “mature policy” after today’s RBA announcement.

The RBA raised the interest rate to 0.35% today, and Jim believes the “endless promises to win the election” needs to stop.

With a swathe of issues impacting the economy, it is still yet to be seen which side of politics will stop the wild spending.

“We’re in for a tough time on the economic front, and this is why the talk must stop, and we need to see true leadership,” Jim said.

“Can someone please stop promising more money, and start promising mature policy that actually works in the real world?

“If that means getting spending under control, so be it!”
