Australian superstar Jessica Mauboy has a new album out and is nominated in six categories for this month’s ARIAs. 

After several years of dividing her time with the film and television industry the songstress tells 2GB’s Alan Jones it feels great getting back to her roots.

“It’s crazy! It’s been a while since I’ve been nominated for that many especially.

“It’s just nice to be back into the music and just be on the grind of making music and being happy with that.”

Her album The Secret Daughter Season Two (Songs from the Original 7 Series) is out now.
