Jeanette Allen Brown’s family still searching for answers after painful death
The family of a woman who died after waiting five hours for an ambulance is still looking for answers.
New South Wales Ambulance is investigating the response to Jeanette Allen Brown who died in April 2021 after suffering extreme pain with gallstones.
The ambulance took over five hours to arrive.
She became septic and died days later.
Jeanette’s son-in-law, Shanil Nanayakkara, told Ben Fordham the family is yet to receive a proper explanation.
“We have received a one-page letter from Brad Hazzard … it’s a relatively genuine apology but fairly empty in terms of what kind of review actually took place.”
