2GB Sydney Now host Clinton Maynard has teed off on Anthony Albanese following his comments on the Welcome to Country during a press conference earlier today.

The Prime Minister compared the tradition to welcoming a guest into your home and claimed Australians were visiting on Indigenous land.

“If it gets to the point that we need to ask permission to be in our own country, that’s when it’s shown to be a failure … It’s our country, not theirs,” he said.
