President Emmanuel Macron is not answering Scott Morrison’s calls after Australia scrapped its $90 million submarine deal with France in favour of a nuclear submarine deal with the US and UK.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is urging the French to “get a grip”, while the US has apologised.
