Jet Ski owners are being warned to follow the rules this summer.

A blitz has been launched to educate those getting too close to shore, speeding and failing to comply with license and registration.

NSW Maritime Executive Director Mark Hutchings told Ray Hadley people must obey the rules.

“We won’t give up. We want to make sure that people understand what the rules are.

“Do the right thing … and keep away from swimmers, it’s not rocket science.”
