Human Nature are getting ready to take fans on a 32-year journey back in time when they resume their People Get Ready tour.

From April next year the pop quartet will perform 60 gigs across the country, in every state and territory and a number of regional towns.

Phil Burton told Deborah Knight it’s “a good way to give back to the fans”.

“A lot of those fans have come to visit us in the cities … so it’s about time for us to go to them instead.”

The tour is an homage to the band’s three-decade history, revealing the twists and turns in their career and the stories behind their songs.

“We take the audience on a journey right from the beginning.

“It’s a chance for us to look back, and see all the things that we’ve done.”
