Communities along the Hawkesbury-Nepean river remain cut off as rain continues to fall.

150mm of rain is predicted over the next 24 hours.

Hawkesbury Councillor and Liberal Candidate for Macquarie Sarah Richards told Deborah Knight it’s their second major flooding event in two years.

“It’s a continuous slap in the face for us here in the Hawkesbury.”
