Prime Minister Scott Morrison and NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller are being questioned over comments made on Ben Fordham Live.

The Prime Minister is under fire today for a phone call made to NSW police commissioner Mick Fuller during an active investigation into Energy Minister Angus Taylor.

Now it has emerged that in separate interviews with Ben Fordham both Mr Fuller and Mr Morrison said the Prime Minister had taken in the police commissioner’s bins when they lived near each other.

But Mr Fuller says they have a “professional relationship” and that the comments where made in jest.

Ben says he’s “pretty sure it was a joke.”

“I don’t actually think Scott Morrison was waiting outside the police commissioner’s house to bring his garbage bin in and his recycling bin in.

“Despite that, there’s some kind of witch hunt involving both of them today.

“It was a bit of harmless fun on the air and sadly people have taken it seriously.”
