Sharks great Paul Gallen has backed David Fifita’s choice to sign a long-term contract with the Roosters over Penrith, stating that he wouldn’t be surprised if Penrith’s dominance soon ends due to the departure of numerous star players from the club.

“I don’t know if they’re going to keep going. They’re losing big guns every single year, there’s going to come a time where it runs out,” he said.
