An Independent Candidate for North Sydney has said that “solutions” need to be created as soon as possible after the NSW government is preparing to delay several multi-billion dollar projects.

The decision will leave commuters with slower journeys for years longer than originally promised on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and fast-growing suburbs.

The controversial Beaches Link Motorway would put the federal seat of North Sydney into a ‘vice’.

Independent Candidate for North Sydney Kylea Tink told Jim Wilson, “These are projects that were configured last century… for 21st-century problems”.

“I do think this is a case of be careful of what you wish for.”
