Nationals Leader David Littleproud believes former prime minister Scott Morrison needs to provide an explanation after today’s findings.

Scott Morrison swore himself in as the health, finance and resources minister at the height of COVID-19, as well as holding the nation’s top job.

Most of his colleagues, along with the public had no idea of the situation.

The Governor General confirmed he was aware Mr Morrison had extra ministerial responsibility.

It meant Mr Morrison could override the ministers already in these roles if he wasn’t happy with the decisions they had made.

Nationals Leader David Littleproud told Clinton Maynard, filling in for Jim Wilson, the findings don’t look good.

“He hasn’t respected the principles.

“It’s important Mr Morrison provides an explanation as to the reasoning behind this.”

Federal Member for Bradfield Paul Fletcher believes Mr Albanese is behaving more like an opposition leader than a Prime Minister after the probe of Scott Morrison.

Mr Fletcher told Clinton Maynard there are other issues to focus on.

“He’s lept on this with great joy, the fact is there are a lot of issues the government should be sinking their teeth into to serve the interest of the Australian people rather than act behaving like an opposition.”
