‘It almost seems unbelievable’: Mystery shoppers testing the police force
Mystery shoppers are testing police officers with made-up queries and pretend issues.
Normally found in retail stores and supermarkets to test customer service performance, mystery shoppers are now being used in police stations.
NSW One Nation Leader Mark Latham tells Ben Fordham, “people are being paid by the government to ring up with a police matter or present physically in person in the police station and pretend that they’ve got a matter”.
“And then make a customer service assessment.”
Ben finds this revelation highly unusual saying, “it almost seems unbelievable because it would be wasting the police time and resources”.
“I’ve quadruple checked this Ben, it is happening… I’ve spoken to many, many officers and they say they are being treated like Coles or Woolies,” says Mr Latham.
