The world’s expert medical investigators say the clock is ticking to uncover the full story of the origins of the novel coronavirus.

Investigators say crucial evidence from inside China is needed now, before it is lost forever.

Luke Grant spoke with Dr Dominic Dwyer, an expert medical virologist and member of the World Health Organisation’s investigation into the Origins of SARS-CoV-2.

Dr Dwyer was part of the independent team which carried out the first phase investigation and is among those pushing for an urgent second investigation to find more evidence.

He’s told Luke Grant about how the team of 11 independent investigators is pushing for this second phase to be carried out urgently because the time to collect vital biological evidence is running out.
