Animals are being surrendered at unfortunate levels, leaving pet sanctuaries filled to the brim.

Help is on its way, thanks to the Blacktown Animal Rehoming Centre which opened recently.

“We made it so people can look after their animals properly”, Blacktown Mayor Tony Bleasdale told Deb Knight.
