One Nation leader Mark Latham criticises calls for an NRL player to step down after being charged with aggravated sexual assault.

Dragons player Jack de Belin has pleaded ‘not guilty’ to the charges.

Mark Latham tells Ben Fordham he believes in “innocent until proven guilty.”

“I hate the idea of young men being punished for things they didn’t do,” he says.

“Until he’s proved guilty in some forum you can only say he’s innocent and deserves to play.”
