Independent MP declares ‘not enough respect’ given to passing assisted dying bill

Ben Fordham

Independent MP Alex Greenwich is calling out the Parliament for delaying the passing of assisted dying legislation.

Advocates will rally from 10am today on Macquarie Street, in hopes of pressuring the upper house to expedite the bill.

Mr Greenwich told Ben Fordham there are two and a half hours dedicated to the debate today.

“It’s not enough respect for an issue that’s so important to so many people across NSW.”
