One Nation MLC Rod Roberts has pointed out discrepancies within the Brumby counting method, questioning the reported figures and advocating for greater transparency.

Roberts revealed that the National Parks and Wildlife’s own figures, which indicated 2,468 brumbies in 2020, were buried “because it was an inconvenient truth and certainly didn’t suit the agenda”.
