Ben chats with a concerned listener from Sydney’s inner west who wrote into the show: “I’m teaching my daughter how to drive, and she’s made me realise how confusing the new 40 km/h speed limits are.

“We’ve always taught learners that the default limit in built-up areas is 50 km/h, unless signposted otherwise.

“But with 40 zones rolling out across the Inner West, drivers now have to hunt for signs just to know what zone they’re in.”
