The NSW Police Force has today activated the ‘Register Find Reunite’ website to assist people who have been displaced by the floods in the Hawkesbury and Dubbo areas.

Police are encouraging those within the impacted flood areas to register their movements using the Australian Red Cross’ ‘Register, Find, Reunite’ service, as emergency services continue to respond to several calls for assistance.

Mayor of Hawkesbury Sarah McMahon told Jim Wilson although there were some evacuations over the weekend in the region, the situation is improving.

“We are looking at the river remaining steady and even falling, which has been a welcome relief for many.”
