‘I’m sick of people being called racist’: Indigenous leader Warren Mundine

Ben Fordham

Warren Mundine says he is “sick and tired” of the labelling and throwing around of the word “racist”.

Liberal Senator Alex Antic was grilling the Attorney General’s department and he asked how someone will prove their Indigenous heritage in order to become a member of “The Voice”.

“It’s borderline racist to ask someone to prove if they’re aboriginal?” Ben said.

Warren Mundine told Ben, “now it’s becoming a meaningless word, people are sick and tired of it”.
