The iconic chicken parmigiana has come under attack and Aussies across the nation are outraged.

An article that appeared in Good Food dubbed the parma the “worst dish ever” and it has stirred up a lot of hate online.

Fairfax Media National Food and Drink Writer Callan Boys is the man behind the article and tells Ben Fordham plenty of other people have agreed with him.

“I just don’t see why you’d want to get a perfectly good chicken schnitzel and then cover it in sloppy cheese and gooey tomato sauce.

“I think we’re better than this.”

Ben had to ask, “what planet are you from?”
