Australian Swimming Legend Ian Thorpe will be involved in Run For The Oceans, but he won’t be taking part in the run himself.

For every kilometre logged until 8 June, adidas will clean up the equivalent of 10 plastic bottles from our oceans, beaches and coastlines.

Thorpe confesses “I’m one of the worst runners on the face of the planet”.

“When I run, it shows me what a good swimmer I was,” he told Deborah Knight.
