Leading melanoma researcher and 2024 Australian of the Year, Dr Richard Scolyer, will lace up his runners on Sunday to support those who’ve helped him throughout his cancer journey.

He’s taking part in the City2Surf to raise funds for Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, where he’s been undergoing treatment for an aggressive brain cancer.

Dr Scolyer was recently told he may have just months to live and has told Clinton Maynard he’s going to make the most of it.
