‘I can’t believe it’: Mark Latham takes direct aim at Labor MP facing bullying accusations

Labor MP Emma Husar has continued to come under fire following explosive allegations she’s bullied staff members and misused taxpayer funds.
An investigation into the Labor backbencher’s alleged misconduct is underway after it was reported up to 20 former staff members had been bullied by the federal member for Lindsay.
It’s reported Ms Husar would direct employees away from their official duties to look after her children and clean up after her dog.
One particular staffer is believed to be living in Husar’s home performing domestic tasks.
Ms Husar claims she’s “horrified” by the complaints against her and says the accusations don’t reflect “who I am or how my office operates”.
The situation worsened for her today after Fairfax Media reported she’s claimed thousands of taxpayers dollars on limousine travel.
The Outsider Mark Latham tells Ben Fordham the Lindsay electorate deserves better and she should resign.
“I think she’d be better off resigning from the parliament because clearly she’s misused public money.
“Instead of using her electorate resources the way they should, she’s used them to hire a nanny, to look after her children, to have a live-in housekeeper.”
The former Labor leader says he has never seen allegations of this kind before and can’t believe it.
“I’ve never heard of a member of parliament who used their electoral allowances and staffing entitlements to basically staff servants in their house instead of looking after their constituents.”
