Chris Smith is calling on the NSW Premier to overhaul “disproportionate” COVID-19 isolation rules.
Close contacts in NSW have to isolate for seven days. In Victoria, people deemed close contacts only have to isolate until they return a negative test.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this but … Victoria leads the way,” Chris said.
“Dominic Perrottet this is where you need to step in, don’t let Victoria’s rules make ours look overly risk-averse.
“Let’s not go into 2022 with rules from 2020.”
