David Warner is “feeling good” about his T20 World Cup performance, despite last year’s lack of continuity and an earlier groin injury.

The Australian cricketer told Bill Woods and Candice Warner he’s been trying to avoid taking too much notice of public criticisms of his form.

“I believe in luck, and … I’m one boundary away from having a decent innings, and that’s what I’m looking forward to in this next game in Sri Lanka.”

Warner admitted preparation for a summer of Test cricket “can be distracting”, but he remains focused on the short-term.

“That’s the beauty of this game; when you’re in all three formats you’ve got to play the now and not look too far ahead.”
