Huge haul following Sydney drug raids
Two men have been charged following raids in Sydney’s south, which saw more than a kilogram of cocaine and hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash seized.
Police Strike Force Boorara, trying to crack down on the supply of ice and cocaine, launched raids on properties at Mascot, Rosebery, Rockdale and Pagewood almost a fortnight ago.
A hydraulic press, white powder, MDMA pills and cash were among items seized.
A Kingsford property was then later searched… resulting in the discovery of more than a kilogram of cocaine and more than $760,000 in cash.
Two men have since been charged. A 22-year-old has been granted bail but a 26-year-old remains behind bars.
