As year 12 students think about whether they want to go to university or TAFE after school, it turns out a lot of older women are having similar discussions! 

TAFE NSW is seeing a large rise in enrolments, with older women making up the bulk.

Chief Delivery Officer Janet Schorer says some women have decided on a post-COVID career change, while others are catching up on studies they put on hold while raising the kids.

The fee-free program is a partnership between Federal, State and Territory Governments, focusing on industries with a skills shortage.
