Huge cold front bringing in low-level snow across several states
Severe thunderstorms are hitting parts of Sydney and conditions in the Blue Mountains are being described as “blizzard-like” as a strong cold front sweeps eastern Australia.
The icy blast is hitting much of southern and eastern Australia and is expected to intensify, bringing low-level snow to several states.
Wind gusts of close to 70 kilometres an hour have hit Camden in the south west.
Mark from Picton told Jim Wilson, that a storm “came and went in a flash”.
