Woolworths is outperforming its greatest rival, Coles.

Since Woolworths ditched the Masters brand they’ve been able to focus on their supermarket branch and it’s reaping rewards.

Woolworths CEO Brad Banducci tells Ross Greenwood they’ve returned to the “meat and potatoes” of their business.

“Consumer trust is one of the key issues of our age.

“[We have] more people visiting us more often and buying more each time they visit.

“It’s because of the focus on the consumers and giving the customer what they want which is great prices, fresh food and service with a smile.”
