One of Australia’s most successful female authors has joined Alan Jones in studio.

When Di Morrissey was growing up in Sydney as a little girl, her parents couldn’t afford books.

She took to making up stories and was encouraged to write them down by beloved Australian poet and fiction writer Dorothea MacKellar.

“She had so many books. She said, ‘If you make up stories write them down in a book one day'”.

Fast forward to today and Morrissey has sold over three million books and has just released her 26th novel Arcadia.

In her chat with Alan, Morrissey reflects on the ups and downs of her extraordinary career and touches on how she writes her stories.
