Acclaimed Aussie actor Erik Thomson has joined Deb Knight on Afternoons to talk about the release of season 2 of his chef-centric show Aftertaste. 

Erik explained how channelling Gordon Ramsay and Marco Pierre White helped him transform into his abrasive head chef character Easton West.

“Chefs are creative people … they’re expressing themselves,” he said.

“It was kind of liberating to just say it as I saw it. I managed to get a few skeletons out of the closet.”

The second season of Aftertaste  will be available for free on ABC iview from July 20th
