Executive Director of the Menzies Research Centre Nick Cater has joined Luke Grant on Drive to provide insight into ways Peter Dutton can regain Liberal votes lost to Labor and Teal Independents. 

“He can make a lot of ground just by being honest and up front with the people,” he said.

On the question of net zero by 2050, Cater told Luke Grant, “[Dutton] should have a policy that can honestly do what it can to produce clean energy … but the immediate problem of course is just keeping the system running smoothly in a way that’s not going to send prices through the roof.

“They probably should’ve been more bold and taken more risks.”
