The NSW Deputy Premier says he’s confident real strides will be made towards helping drought-affected communities at The Daily Telegraph‘s Bush Summit.

Taking place in Dubbo this year, the Bush Summit sees community leaders, farmers, policymakers and politicians meet to discuss regional issues.

The Deputy Premier spoke to Steve Price from the summit, telling him he’s confident good things will come from the meeting.

“Firstly, this is not being driven by the politicians and that’s always a good start!

“Hopefully all the politics gets put aside and we talk about the stuff that actually matters.”
