The NSW Sports Minister says there’s “hope on the horizon” for lawn bowlers in NSW.

Currently, bowling clubs are closed and, along with community sport, are not specifically included in the 70 per cent roadmap for the fully vaccinated.

Minister Natalie Ward told Ray Hadley the outdoor nature of bowling could see clubs reopen.

“It’s going to take a little bit of time to smooth out some of those details so they can open.

“It’s something that could be well regulated … so there’s hope on the horizon for that as well.”
