Traffic on the motorway is banked back to the M2 at Pennant Hills, with cars and caravans taking the off-ramp at Pennant Hills road banked back to Baulkham Hills.
There are also delays southbound on the Princes Highway.
The Transport Management Centre’s John Pearson is urging motorists to allow extra travel time and drive to the conditions.
