Hoarders threatening Australia’s AdBlue supply

Article image for Hoarders threatening Australia’s AdBlue supply

A major supplier of a key anti-pollution additive says hoarding is now one of the key threats to supply.

A global shortage of AdBlue has been linked to China’s influence in the market, with the Australian government working on sourcing supply from Indonesia.

AUSBlue is Australia’s largest AdBlue manufacturer.

“If our competitors run out of AdBlue before they are able to get new stock then Australia’s in trouble.

“I see risk in the supply of AdBlue into Australia [in January].”
