Ray Hadley has ripped into the Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs over his lack of response to a violent incident at the Sydney passport office. 

An altercation between two families on Friday was described by a listener as “really, really scary”.

The Ray Hadley Morning Show attempted to contact the office of Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs Tim Watts multiple times during yesterday’s show for a statement.

Mr Watts’ office finally responded this morning with, “The Minister asked DFAT to respond given their role in managing the security arrangements. We won’t be commenting further on this one.”

“We’ll judge Mr Watts by his behaviour from here on in, he’s only new to the job,” Ray said, “but at the first instance he’s failed us and you miserably.”
