Energy Minister Angus Taylor and Labor politician Joel Fitzgibbon think Australia needs to “stand together” amidst Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Angus Taylor told Deborah Knight the situation in Ukraine “is a reckless” act by Vladimir Putin.

“It should be condemned by all countries across the globe.

“It’s important we work together across the globe to make sure those consequences are real.”

Joel said the importance of standing together as a nation is vital along with the imposed sanctions.

“Those around him, the wealthy oligarchs will become dramatically affected.

“Hopefully we will send a very clear message to Putin.”
