Australians are rallying around a Lismore business devastated by floods after it was revealed insurance wouldn’t cover the damage.

Two Mates Brewing owner Grant and his business partner Andrew are facing a $750,000 bill for the cleanup and repairs.

During the horrific floods, Grant had to punch through the tin roof of his warehouse to escape the floodwaters.

Once he got out he helped save his 70-year-old neighbour, Ruby.
