Melanie Young, at just 45 years old, is a mother of four and a beloved figure in the NSW fishing community. Tragically, she’s been given only six months to live.

For over 20 years, Mel ran a thriving fishing business, offering lessons to children and individuals with disabilities, making a lasting impact on many lives.

Throughout this time, she has bravely battled a rare genetic condition that slowly causes her organs to shut down.

Now, with the devastating news that she has only six months left, her friends have launched a GoFundMe to support Mel and her family through this unimaginably difficult period.
